Clergy

Chris Aldridge is the founder and Head Priest of the temple, and has been since 2010. He is additionally an accomplished civil rights activist, martial artist and writer whose works have been successful on both the self-published and traditional markets. His articles have also been featured on the website of the Supreme Council of Ethnic Hellenes in Greece, and popular American Pagan publications such as Witches and Pagans Magazine and Circle Magazine.

Chris was born on Sunday, November 4th, 1984 in Asheboro, North Carolina, but grew up in the nearby city of Thomasville, North Carolina, where he attended elementary, middle and high school. His later education was focused primarily on history, and has been a historian for the last 25 years. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Columbia College of Missouri. He founded Temple Of The Greek Gods in High Point, North Carolina in 2010, and has since, with the help of his wife the Head Priestess, built the temple and organization into a physical location and a community membership all over the United States.

Today, Chris considers his occupations to be the Head Priest of the temple and a writer, blogger, historian, mythologist, philosopher, theologian and public speaker. As a priest, his clergy colors are dark blue, gold, silver and black. General services he offers to the community include prayer requests, public rites, spiritual counseling, public speaking, marriages, cleansings, history and funerals. He goes simply by Priest Christopher.

Anastasia Aldridge is the wife of Chris Aldridge, and the Head Priestess of the temple. Together they have one son, and were married officially in 2011. Anastasia was born on June 20th, 1976 in Freeport, Illinois, where she attended elementary, middle and high school. She chose Hellenism as her religion along with Chris in 2009, after having been Wiccan for the previous 9 years.

She received her higher education from Truman College of Chicago, Illinois, achieving an Associate's Degree in Humanities and Religion, and Columbia College of Missouri, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Social Services.

Anastasia is also the Oracle of the temple, and has been perfecting the art since she was a teenager. Her clergy colors are red, black and white. Services she offers to the community include oracle consultation, spiritual counseling, prayer requests, public rites, divination, and marriages. Her title is Priestess Anastasia.

Kal Vorpahl was appointed as the First Priest of Priest Christopher's Cabinet (Hierei) on April 24th, 2021, which is a position of general Priesthood under the Head Priest. Kal was born on February 3rd, 1993 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and received his higher education from Gateway Technical College. His clergy colors are light blue, gold and white, and the services he offers to the community include prayer requests, public rites, marriages, funerals and blessings. His title is Priest Kal.

Kal has volunteered his time with various organizations promoting literacy, accessibility, and democracy. He is an election worker and occasionally holds leadership positions in canvassing and outreach groups. He has been practicing Hellenism for several years, converting from eclectic Paganism out of a desire for the Hellenic Gods in a traditional way. He is presently engaged to be married.
